Vermont
This was where Eliza grew up, and where we got married, too -- so to say it is a special spot for us is certainly an understatement. Vermont's green mountains are one of its biggest draws, and on top of that, the food and beer are unparalleled. The idea of farm to table eating seems like it started in Vermont -- having grown up on a small dairy farm, it seems like the obvious, and perhaps only way to eat. The beer is made with such pure water and ingredients that it can make a fan out of even those who don't exactly love beer (ahem, Eliza...). Of the four seasons in Vermont, we can think of reasons to visit during all, but summer, fall, and winter are for sure the most popular times for visitors, especially those looking to get outside. This is truly our home away from home and can only highly recommend a visit.

We have taken the time to really reflect on our home recently, and while traveling isn’t in the cards for the near future, making our home our little sanctuary is. So our online space here is making a real transition from being ALL about the travels to being ALL about home. And frankly, we’re in a season of life when we’re okay with that!
